Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Perform vital signs, health screenings, and assist physicians during examinations.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle insurance verification accurately.
- Medical Procedures: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and administer medications as directed.
- Communication: Clearly communicate patient instructions and follow-up care plans to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and clinic protocols to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing schedules and assist with various clinical and clerical tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Training: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification is mandatory.
- Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and strong computer literacy.
