Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments accurately.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical equipment for night shift operations.
- Manage patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance with all documentation.
- Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a licensed provider.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the night shift nursing team.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a night shift role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varying night shifts and weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 50 lbs.
