Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (JCAHO, CMS, etc.).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a positive attitude.
- Willingness to cross-train and adapt to various nursing units as needed.
