Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Take vital signs, medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient documentation
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior experience required – training provided!
- Current CPR certification (will be provided if not certified)
- Basic computer literacy and EHR familiarity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical settings
