Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring sterilization and equipment functionality
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with strict HIPAA compliance
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Arizona state license in good standing
