Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform vital signs and basic diagnostic tests
- Prepare and maintain medical records (EHR proficiency required)
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Schedule appointments and handle patient correspondence
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- EHR software proficiency (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Georgia state MA license in good standing
