Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, vitals, and medical history assessments.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens according to strict safety protocols.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals to specialists.
- Provide patient education and instructions regarding medications and treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients or equipment as needed.
