Your Role
As a CNA at our facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with the nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques.
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Mexico.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or acute care setting is a plus.
