Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care units with precision and empathy
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitor vital signs, document observations accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile environments and comply with infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong clinical skills in med-surg, telemetry, or ICU settings
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC preferred)
