Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and secure medication records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for prescription clarification
- Train new pharmacy staff on protocols and systems
Qualifications
- Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician license
- 1+ years retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings
- CPR certification preferred
