Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and restocking of pharmaceutical products
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, FDA, and pharmacy regulations
- Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing and record-keeping

Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Texas State Board of Pharmacy registration
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and abbreviations
