Responsibilities
- Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Prepare medication labels, manage inventory, and restock pharmacy shelves.
- Assist customers with medication inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Organize and maintain the pharmacy's filing system and records.
- Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and DEA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or registration eligible in California.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and pharmacy software.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
