Responsibilities
- Accurately verify prescriptions and prepare medications for dispensing.
- Assist patients with medication inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory and patient profiles.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure medication safety and compliance with federal and state laws.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing paperwork efficiently.
- Monitor medication stock levels and place orders as needed.
Qualifications
- Current PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
- Active State of Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 25 lbs.
