Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and medication ordering systems
- Process insurance claims and patient billing inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Assist with immunizations and health screenings
- Operate pharmacy software (OmniRx experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license
- Prior retail pharmacy experience (1+ years preferred)
- CPhT certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
