Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, capillary draws, and specimen processing with precision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Provide exceptional patient care during blood collection procedures
- Utilize LIS systems for accurate sample labeling and documentation
- Collaborate with laboratory staff for efficient workflow
- Train new staff on phlebotomy techniques and safety standards
- Manage inventory of collection supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP, NHA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical phlebotomy experience
- Valid CPR certification
- Proficiency in electronic health records and LIS systems
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
