Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care including assessment, treatment planning, and medication administration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and care protocols
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress with precision
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and critical incident documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license in good standing
- BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ER/ICU preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with flexible availability
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
