Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and clinical expertise
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered RN license in the state of New Mexico
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment
- EMR system proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
