Responsibilities
- Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with facility standards.
- Monitor Patient Status: Continuously monitor vital signs and patient conditions to ensure safety and prompt intervention.
- Administer Medications: Safely prepare and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document Patient Data: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, charts, and patient reports.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other staff to ensure coordinated care.
- Emergency Response: Respond immediately to patient emergencies and code blue situations.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control protocols.
Qualifications
- Active RN License: Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Kansas.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.
