Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned specialty unit (ICU/ER/Med-Surg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient condition, and treatment responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient plans
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Adhere to infection control and hospital safety policies
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS for pediatric roles)
- 1+ years recent acute care experience in specialty area
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
