Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care under the direct supervision of senior nursing staff and physicians.
- Assist with patient assessments, vital sign monitoring, and documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and nursing standards.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment while adhering to strict infection control policies.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred for night shifts.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
