Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatment implementation, and health monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive care
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience in relevant specialty
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in high-pressure environments
