Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs in acute care settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per physician protocols
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Document electronic health records accurately and maintain compliance with HIPAA
- Educate patients/families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (required)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (must maintain)
- BSN preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- 2+ years acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
