Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to established protocols, physician orders, and hospital policies.
- Monitor vital signs and document patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during their healthcare journey.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
