Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in 20-bed ICU unit
- Administer complex medications and monitor life-support systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Maintain precise electronic health records using Epic EMR system
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with calm expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York State
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (CCRN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years critical care nursing experience
- Expertise in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong communication skills for family interactions
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
