Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in acute and critical care settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions per protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and hospital policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (Ohio or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN or specialty certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
