Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough initial and ongoing patient assessments to determine appropriate care plans.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status to detect any changes in condition.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient charts in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred (New graduates with strong clinical rotations are considered).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical equipment.
- Compassion: Strong bedside manner and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
