Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, including assessments and interventions.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and HIPAA compliance.
- Computer literacy and ability to use electronic health record systems.
