Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with physician orders and clinical guidelines.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while strictly adhering to safety protocols and medication administration policies.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes or complications to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical-surgical setting (New graduates with a strong clinical rotation are encouraged to apply).
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to adapt to various shifts, including nights and weekends, as part of our flexible schedule.
