Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and monitor vital signs continuously throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families regarding patient status and care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and administer emergency interventions as required.
- Document patient care accurately and completely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong ability to work independently and make critical decisions during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime and holidays as needed.
