Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
- Maintain strict compliance with OSHA and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in medical-surgical setting
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Proficient in EPIC electronic health records system
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
