Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical standards.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and conditions continuously, escalating concerns immediately to the nursing team or physician.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (NC).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
