Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings during weekend shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and respond rapidly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
Qualifications
- Active RN license in IL or GA (compact license accepted)
- Associates or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (new grads welcome)
- BLS/ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Availability for consistent weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- EMR proficiency (Epic/Meditech experience preferred)
