Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with flexible start/end times
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or compact license with CA endorsement)
- BSN or associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
- BLS/ACLS certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (weekend experience a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
