Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute/critical care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS/NRP a plus
- 1+ years of clinical experience in acute care or specialty unit
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
