Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document patient responses using Epic EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in emergency or critical care
- Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English (Spanish fluency a plus)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
