Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care across ER, ICU, and Med-Surg departments
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic systems
- Lead rapid response teams during critical patient situations
- Mentor new nurses through our residency program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada RN license (compact license accepted)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred for leadership roles)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications (PALS required for pediatric roles)
- Proficiency in telehealth and remote monitoring technologies
- Proven ability to handle high-acuity cases in fast-paced environments
- Strong conflict resolution and patient advocacy skills
- Experience with trauma/burn center protocols preferred
