Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse units including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EPIC)
- Implement patient education and discharge planning
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations
- Mentor new nurses and nursing students
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required (PENNSLV preferred)
- 1+ years acute care experience preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with commitment to BSN)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
