Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation, including remote charting.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-care instructions.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care support as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
