Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical instruments for procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environment in operating rooms
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before/after surgery
- Transport patients and equipment safely
- Scrub and gown for surgical procedures
- Assist with sterilization and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 1 year OR experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
