Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields before surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Assist in patient positioning and draping procedures
- Inventory and manage surgical equipment and supplies
- Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff for seamless workflow
- Document procedural activities accurately in electronic records
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent surgical tech experience
- Expertise in sterile processing and instrument management
- Knowledge of multiple surgical specialties (Ortho, General, Neuro)
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Current BLS certification
