Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned specialty (ICU, ER, Med-Surg, etc.)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and state regulations
- Participate in shift handovers and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required (specialty-specific certs as needed)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility for 13-week assignments with potential extensions
