Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care according to established nursing standards and plans of care.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment meticulously.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing patient needs.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact state eligibility).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, protocols, and electronic health record systems.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
