Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized nursing interventions
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and hospital protocols
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions
- Participate in rapid response and emergency care situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (compact license preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (TN state-specific certs as needed)
- Graduate from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
