Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Prioritize cases based on medical urgency using EBP protocols
- Coordinate with ER physicians and specialists for seamless care transitions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with HIPAA compliance
- Provide clear triage guidance to patients and family members
- Manage high-volume call centers during peak emergency periods
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 3 years ER/urgent care or triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm under extreme pressure
- Strong cultural competency for diverse patient populations
- BSN degree or higher (MSN preferred)
