Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage for emergency and urgent cases
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions in EMR systems
- Train and mentor new triage staff on protocols
- Manage patient flow and bed allocation efficiently
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- Minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
