Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on acuity
- Provide telehealth triage for virtual patients
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Educate patients on home care and follow-up procedures
- Oversee nursing assistants and coordinate department workflow
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- BSN degree preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
