Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and telehealth to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop precise treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance
- Provide life-saving guidance to patients during critical situations
- Coordinate seamless transitions between emergency departments and specialists
- Train new staff on triage protocols and best practices
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio with minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
