Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity using standardized triage protocols
- Coordinate with physicians to prioritize emergency cases
- Document patient histories and symptoms accurately
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Oversee ER waiting room operations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years ER/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and empathy
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
