Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical histories to prioritize emergency cases
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families during critical situations
- Collaborate with physicians and ER staff to ensure timely patient flow
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Adhere to triage protocols and emergency department procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or triage experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
