Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients using standardized protocols to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation with precision
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Monitor departmental metrics and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Manage high-pressure situations with composure and clinical judgment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
